The Ohrid Summer Festival - is held every year, from the 12th July till the 20th August. Many prominent world known artists take part at the festival. Concerts, plays, poetry reading, ballet performances can be seen at the festival. The Ohrid Summer Festival is a member of the European Association of the Festivals since 1994.

Balkan Folk Festival - is held every year at the beginning of July. The participants of the festival are all Balkans’ countries that promote their culture through traditional folk dances, songs, national clothes, and instruments.

Ohrid Marathon - is held every year in the second half of August. The swimming elite of the world start the marathon from St. Naum, and swim 30 km to Ohrid. In 1998 Ohrid Marathon joined the group of 12 world marathons under the umbrella of World Swimming Association FINA.

Balkan Music Square Festival - is held every year in August. The festival takes place at the Antic Theatre, and is visited by eminent names like Vlatko Stefanoski, Miroslav Tadic, Makis Ablianitis and others.

Ohrid Fest - a three day music festival is held in the middle of August. It started as a folk festival, but today it consists of three nights( folk, pop and international night). The festival gained popularity because of the fact that many macedonian hits were promoted at this festival.
